Day 1 – Fort Kochi / Cochin Airport → Abhayaranyam → Munnar

Your journey begins with a pick-up from Fort Kochi (09:00 hrs) or Cochin Airport (10:30 hrs).

Drive towards Munnar through scenic countryside, rubber plantations, and lush valleys. En route, visit Abhayaranyam Elephant Care Centre, a responsible wildlife rehabilitation facility where rescued elephants and deer are cared for in natural surroundings. Continue the scenic uphill drive to Munnar and check in at your hotel. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 2 – Eravikulam National Park • Srishti • Lockhart Tea Factory

After breakfast, visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and rolling grasslands at high altitude. Walk through the park and enjoy panoramic viewpoints. Later, visit the Srishti Welfare Centre, a meaningful initiative supporting differently-abled artisans through eco-friendly crafts.

In the afternoon, tour the historic Lockhart Tea Factory and estate, learning about tea production while exploring its beautiful plantations.
Overnight in Munnar.

Day 3 – Munnar → Thekkady • Spice Plantation Tour • Periyar Boat Safari

Drive from Munnar to the wildlife region of Thekkady, descending through forests, cardamom estates, and mountain passes. On arrival, enjoy a guided spice garden tour to understand Kerala’s signature spices like cardamom, black pepper, clove, and cinnamon.

Later in the day, experience a boat safari at Periyar Lake inside Periyar National Park, where you may spot elephants, bison, birdlife, and scenic forest landscapes. Overnight in Thekkady.

Day 4 – Thekkady → Alleppey • Houseboat Cruise & Overnight Stay • Kayaking

Drive down to Alleppey, where your Kerala houseboat awaits. Embark on a day cruise through tranquil canals, village routes, and palm-fringed waterways. Enjoy freshly prepared meals on board.

In the evening, take part in a peaceful kayaking session in the backwaters, a memorable, immersive way to experience life along the water channels. Dinner is served onboard. Overnight on the houseboat in Alleppey.

Day 5 – Alleppey → Kochi Sightseeing • Drop-Off

After breakfast, disembark from your houseboat and drive to Kochi for a guided heritage sightseeing tour. Visit landmarks such as the Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, Fort Kochi beach, and the cultural streets of Mattancherry.

You may choose to end your tour at Fort Kochi (14:00 hrs) or continue to Cochin Airport (16:00 hrs) for your onward journey.

Vehicle Replacement: Green Earth Trails reserves the right to upgrade or replace the vehicle depending on group size or operational requirements without compromising comfort or service quality.
Weather Conditions: Kerala experiences tropical climate; monsoon months (Jun–Sep) may affect timings of outdoor activities.
Unexpected Delays: The operator is not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond control such as flight/rail delays, roadblocks, strikes, weather changes, or technical issues.
Luggage: Kindly carry 1 big piece luggage and a small bag / hand bag for easier handling in vehicles and houseboats.
Medical Fitness: Participants are expected to be reasonably fit for light walks, mild hikes, and outdoor experiences.
